Evocative compositions

My evocative compositions : read and listen

Welcome to the world of Evocative Compositions, a collection of music specially designed to create mental images, convey intentions, and evoke sensations and emotions. These musical works are the result of a delicate intention to share moments of introspection and inner connection.

These pieces are not intended for commercial use but can be particularly useful in music therapy. Indeed, sometimes patients cannot articulate what they feel, but music can resonate with them. It becomes a non-verbal and discreet way of expressing their feelings, as noted by Dr. Baumel, a psychiatrist:

“Thoughts and feelings can be projected onto the self-suggested song, which will express our inner world on our behalf.” — Dr. Baumel, Psychiatrist

Each composition is created with the desire to guide the listener through a unique sensory journey, evoking various emotional landscapes. Whether it is to feel nostalgia, love, or joy, these pieces offer an opportunity to immerse oneself in personal sensations and memories.

Explore, feel, and let the music guide your soul.

Evocative compositions

Some of these Evocative Compositions have even been used in studies conducted by the University of Liège in oncology. These studies explore the therapeutic potential of music to improve the well-being of cancer patients by helping to reduce stress, improve mood, and promote a better quality of life.

Each composition is created with the desire to guide the listener through a unique sensory journey, evoking various emotional landscapes. Whether it is to feel nostalgia, love, or joy, these pieces offer an opportunity to immerse oneself in personal sensations and memories.

Light up the Blue by Alain Collinet - Evocative compositions

Light up the Blue

This musical composition is created in the wake of Autism Awareness Month in the UK. It is a piano piece with the gradual intervention of the orchestra. The piece is felt differently, sometimes sentimental, sometimes nostalgic, or conveying images of aquatic fluidity. I have imbued it with intentions of hope and encouragement.

It takes you on an imaginary, calm, and comforting journey that lasts just over 3 minutes.

The musical work explores soundscapes that sometimes evoke memories of the past, sometimes dreams of a promising future. It encourages escapism and defocusing.

The transitions between the piano and the orchestra are designed to create a sense of growth and evolution, symbolizing resilience and the human capacity to overcome challenges.
